About MMT Textiles

MMT Textiles Limited was incorporated in January, 2009. The company holds the Patent & IP rights to an innovative new technology inspired by the natural response of pine cones to humidity in the climate.

The air permeability of knitted, woven or non-woven textile structures using MMT’s technology changes according to levels of relative humidity in the micro-climate. The fabric structure opens when damp and closes when dry. MMT refers to this as "the pine cone effect".

MMT’s adaptive fabric technology facilitates the release of moisture away from the body without the wearer feeling the discomfort of wetness while also having the ability to provide enhanced insulation when required.

Veronika Kapsali, one of the founding Directors of MMT Textiles Limited, is an acknowledged expert on Biomimetics for textile and clothing design.

MMT is currently building a network of pre-licensing development agreements with partners who will work with the company on commercial prototype development. MMT offers exclusive worldwide marketing rights for designated product categories against pre-agreed licensing terms and conditions.

MMT has concluded it's first development partnerships with two major American performance textiles companies. Other agreements are pending.
