About MMT Textiles

MMT Textiles Limited was incorporated in January, 2009. The company holds the Patent & IP rights to an innovative new technology inspired by the natural response of pine cones to humidity in the climate.

The knitted, woven or non-woven textile structure using MMT’s technology will open in damp conditions and close when the micro-climate is dry. MMT refers to this as "the pine cone effect".

MMT’s adaptive fabrics facilitate the release of moisture away from the body without the wearer feeling the discomfort of wetness while having the ability to provide enhanced insulation when required.

Veronika Kapsali, one of the founding Directors of MMT Textiles Limited, is an acknowledged expert on Biomimetics for textile and clothing design.
